Trailblazing Women of Country – A Tribute to Patsy, Loretta, and Dolly
Featuring vocalists Miko Marks and Kristina Train
Wednesday, May 1
Perry Pavilion
Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and Dolly Parton revolutionized country music and blazed a trail for future generations of female artists. Each harnessed country music's rich storytelling tradition to offer their uniquely empowered - and unmistakably female - perspective on issues faced by women of their day, as movingly portrayed in songs like Cline's Crazy, Lynn's Don't Come Home A-Drinkin' with Lovin' On Your Mind, and Parton's Coat of Many Colors. Now, two of today's rising female country stars pay tribute to these legendary artists: Miko Marks, whose downhome sound blends country, blues and gospel, and Kristina Train, whose powerful, soulful voice mines the pain and pride in every song. Get your tickets now for this unforgettable tribute show!
