VAF Holiday 2024

Virginia Arts Festival Announces
The Kingdom Choir - December 3
Vienna Boys Choir - December 12, 13, 14
Joyful holiday concerts in Richmond, Williamsburg, and Norfolk

The Virginia Arts Festival will present joyful musical celebrations featuring internationally acclaimed choirs this holiday season, with performances throughout the region.

The celebration begins with the phenomenal Kingdom Choir, the London-based group that shot to stardom with their performance at the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2019. They raised the royal roof with their rendition of “Stand By Me,” witnessed by a worldwide audience—and from there they’ve added chart-topping recordings and world tours to their resumes. This joy-inducing choir performs December 3 at Norfolk’s historic Attucks Theatre.

The eagerly anticipated return of the legendary Vienna Boys Choir completes the Festival’s holiday season, with performances in Norfolk, Williamsburg and Richmond. World-renowned and beloved by audiences, this impeccably trained choir of boys 10 to 14 years old honors a musical tradition that dates back to the 15th century. Their repertoire spans from Gregorian chants to classic carols and popular holiday music, all made more beautiful by their angelic voices.

Tickets for these holiday performances are on sale now, available online at vafest.org, by phone at 757-282-2822, or at the Festival Ticket Office, 440 Bank St, Norfolk (Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm).
