Each year, the Virginia Arts Festival welcomes student groups from across the country to Coastal Virginia - from Virginia Beach and Norfolk to Colonial Williamsburg. Performances span the American Songbook, classical music, dance, jazz, and more.
The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, Yo-Yo Ma, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Kristin Chenoweth, and Renée Fleming are just a few of the world-class performers who have inspired students through unforgettable live experiences.
Student tickets for many performances start at just $10 and often include on-site bus parking, meet-and-greets, and pre-performance opportunities.
The Festival offers customized educational experiences for choirs, bands, ensembles, and dance groups, such as:

World-class dance companies are featured every year - recent partners include Dance Theatre of Harlem, American Ballet Theatre, Birmingham Royal Ballet, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater - each providing training opportunities, workshops, and student-focused events.
