Start your summer with a trip to Virginia Beach and the historic triangle of Jamestown, Yorktown, and Williamsburg. Sun, sand, and a great weekend of music await you at the annual Williamsburg Live! music festival. The festival’s lineups have included Kenny Loggins, Nora Jones, Sheryl Crow, the Beach Boys, and many more.
Day 1 – Stay in one of the many oceanfront hotels Virginia Beach offers. Soak up the sun, walk along miles of boardwalk, and enjoy fresh seafood. Take a scenic drive to the Military Aviation Museum which boasts the largest collection of flyable WWI and WWII triplanes and biplanes in the country. Get on the water for a dolphin-watching cruise or a kayak tour, or enjoy the Virginia Aquarium, Cape Henry Lighthouse, and First Landing State Park.
Day 2 – Head up to the historic triangle and visit the Jamestown Settlement, Colonial Williamsburg, and the American Revolution Museum. Check into a Williamsburg hotel head to the Lawn of the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg for the first night of Williamsburg Live!
Day 3 – Start the day with breakfast and shopping at Williamsburg Outlets. Explore the area’s great eateries, and have a refreshing drink with vineyard views at Williamsburg Winery, or check out the area’s many fine breweries. Get ready for another great evening of music under the stars.
Day 4 – Spend the day at Busch Gardens of Williamsburg, a 400+ acre amusement park featuring roller coasters and child-friendly rides in a beautiful setting. Head back to your hotel and get ready for the final night of music, food, and drink at Williamsburg Live!
